How to Play: Before playing a match against the computer, we recommend that you try out Practice Mode first. This gives you a better chance to get to grips with the often tricky controls. Use the Arrow Keys or WASD Keys on your computer keyboard or touchscreen to maneuver your player. When he has possession of the puck (the round black dot), move him toward the opposition goal. Hit Spacebar for an extra burst of speed to propel him across the ice. To shoot the puck, aim using your computer mouse, and Left Click to shoot. The longer you hold down the click, the harder your shot.
Once you are ready to take on the computer, click ‘Exit Practice’ in the bottom right corner of the game screen. Choose ‘Game Mode’, and select your difficulty – Easy, Normal, or Hard. The harder the difficulty, the longer the game periods (there are 3 set time periods in an ice hockey match). There are 6 players on each team (one goalie and 5 outfield players). To toggle between controlling each player, hit the Shift Key on your keyboard. Once you master the controls, your task is simple; outscore your opponents! Tip: Using Spacebar to boost your speed is a good way of dispossessing an opposition player. Try to time your tackle just right so that you come away with the puck as well as flattening your opponent!
